Sister Luk Is Hospitalized!

We were shocked to learn that Eleanor Luk was hit by a car while walking across the street.
We don't know the extent of her injuries, but she has been hospitalized.
This has occurred just one week after receiving the call to serve as her ward's
 Relief Society President.
Brother Luk indicated that she is banged up pretty good with a broken arm and shoulder.
She may require surgery.
She can't remember the accident happening, other than she walked out in front of a truck.
I think angels must have been surrounding her, because otherwise she could have been injured even more seriously.
She is one of the most devoted temple workers we have met.
She works two shifts each week, and always signs up to work on the Statutory Holidays, and Special Sunday Openings.
We hope she recovers quickly, and is able to return to the temple.

We have since learned that she only missed one week at church, and one presidency meeting.
She just sat without saying much, and her counselors took on her responsibilities until she is able to.
May the Lord bless her with complete healing.
