Our Sunday began with the baptism of Amelia 'Loida' Garcia
Even though we couldn't understand what she said as she bore her testimony in Tagalog,
our hearts were still touched and the Spirit was felt.

Elder Randy D. Funk attended our Sacrament meeting, and helped in presenting certificates to those sisters who completed the Institute course.
This makes the second week in a row that we have had a General Authority attend our branch.
I got a nice surprise when Sister Yueng came walking
into the foyer.
She is an ordinance worker in the temple,
and a beautiful woman.
Sister Yeung only speaks Mandarin, so we aren't able to converse.
But, we can smile, give hugs, and say, 'Ni hao', and 'Xiexie' to each other.
