Newlyweds From India!

We have only had a small number of weddings in the temple these past five months.
So, our day is extra special when young couples come from many parts of Asia to be married.
Anandraj Joseph and Florence Jebamani met five months ago when
Anandraj's Branch President introduced them.
They each joined the church in 2002, and then both served a mission in India.
That was seven years ago for Florence.

Anandraj and Florence were married civilly September 18th as is required in India, and then sealed by Brother Yip for time and all eternity today, the 22nd.
The Josephs came without family or friends,
so I had the privilege of attending their sealing along with
 our Temple Matron, Sister Wong.

I admire these couples and individuals who come alone without loved ones to witness such a happy and momentous occasion in their lives.
They realize the eternal significance of what they are doing,
and they go forward with faith. We have certainly taken for granted the fact that we were able to have family members and friends in attendance at our own wedding,
as well as when each of our children were married.

These are remarkable and beautiful people whom I am humbled by.
We wish them eternal bliss!
