As we were walking from the temple today along Cornwall Street, we came upon a stack of cut limbs close to the walkway. Elder Chan, being quite the chef, immediately saw potential for what he thought was a much needed chopping block.
Wanting to help out a fellow temple missionary,
Elder Bodily thought it his duty to help make this a reality.
He tried stuffing it in his backpack, but it just would not fit.
So, this was the next best way.
Elder and Sister Ngai advised getting a pig's skin to wrap it in,
but where are we going to get one of those?
Sister N Chan said, 'Are you crazy?'
Since Sister J Chan was hesitant to store a big hunk of wood in their apartment,
and not all that excited about the idea,
it was discarded and Elder Chan had to leave his chopping block behind.
Maybe there will be a next time, but we have to find a pig first.
