The Bodilys At The Ballet!

I never thought I would see the day when Elder Bodily would agree to go to a ballet.
But, low and behold, he took me to the Nutcracker Suite as part of our enjoying the festivities of the Christmas season.
What was more shocking is he stayed awake and even admitted that he could think of other things that were less enjoyable.
We are going to be so culturally refined by the time our mission has ended.  Well, maybe not a lot,
but more than before we came here.
Since this is the first ballet we have attended, we don't have anything to compare this performance to, but we both felt it was excellent.  The orchestra was remarkable.  They played non-stop for an hour before intermission.  The set was impressive.  The dancers were outstanding.
Elder Bodiy's favorite dancers were the Egyptian dolls.
Sister Bodily enjoyed it all.

There are some perks for senior missionaries here in Hong Kong, which we didn't expect when we began serving here 8 months ago.
Taking advantage of the cultural arts is one of them.
