The Nelapatis Are Newlyweds!

Kiran Nelapati and Sidharthi Chadda are from New Delhi, India.

Sidharthi came dressed with numerous bangles. They are part of the traditional Indian wedding attire, and are to be worn in an certain pattern.

Brother Nelapati was the missionary who taught the Chadda family the gospel 3 years ago.
They were married a few days ago before coming to be sealed in the temple.
Sidharthi received her own endowment yesterday.

Our Testimonies

I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and know that He suffered and died for us, and He lives today. I also know that He and Heavenly Father appeared to Joseph Smith in a grove of trees near Palmyra, New York. And through Joseph Smith the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, and have felt the Spirit bear witness to me of the truth of these things. I know that I am happier when I keep the commandments and strive to live the gospel. I want to share what I know to be true with others, so that they too, can receive the blessings that come from following our Savior, Jesus Christ, and return to live with our Heavenly Father.

I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and that He lives. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His church restored to the earth in these latter days. I know that Jesus Christ leads His church through a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I know the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true. We all have the right and privilege of knowing these truths for ourselves. Pray to our Heavenly Father with a sincere heart and real intent, and you will know through the influence of the Holy Ghost.

I bear testimony of these truths, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
